== Description ==

The Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) is a tool to monitor the traffic
load on network-links. MRTG generates HTML pages containing PNG images which
provide a LIVE visual representation of this traffic.

== Comments ==

MRTG and cfgmaker support SNMP over IPv6. 

IPv6 can be explicitly enabled  in MRTG  by turning on the EnableIPv6 global option in the configuration file. 

In cfgmaker, IPv6 can be enabled with the --enable-ipv6 command-line option.


In the configuration files IPv6 targets can be specified by hostname or IPv6 address, and if the required perl libraries are present (  Socket6 and IO::Socket::INET6), queries will use IPv6.
