Description
The Libra FTP daemon is an anonymous FTP server for Linux. It was tested on RedHat Linux 4.2, 5.x and 6.0. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 address families. The server is compliant with the following Internet documents: RFC 959 FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL (FTP), RFC 854 TELNET PROTOCOL SPECIFICATION, RFC 1123 Requirements for Internet Hosts -- Application and Support, RFC 1579 Firewall-Friendly FTP, RFC 2389 Feature negotiation mechanism for the File Transfer Protocol, RFC 2428 FTP Extentions for IPv6 and NATs, RFC 2577 FTP Security Considerations. It has also following features: Logging of user commands to stderr, Logging of server replies to stderr, Logging of user logins to stderr, Logging of user activity (downloads, uploads, deletion and creation of files and directories) to stderr, Session timeout, Read-only mode, Directory messages, MD5 checksums of transferred files (RFC 1321), Implementation of experimental MLST and MLSD commands
