Description

The Sun Packet shell is used internally to verify IPV6 code and network behaviour correctness. This tool is designed to allow one to interact with the network DLPI driver to send/receive packets of any possible construction while writing ones script in a high level extension of Tcl/TK. Although relatively unknown outside of the protocol and firewall development/penetration testing community the Sun packet shell is a useful educational tool when accompanied with "TCP/IP Illustrated Volume 1."STEVENS. for learning about network failure and morbid state modes.
